The Colour Monster

Lesson: Personal, Social and Emotional Education

Class: Y2 - Mrs O'Connor Year: 2020 - 2021

We have read 'The Colour Monster' by Anna Llenis and used this to have a discussion about emotions, feelings and their colours. We also considered how we are never really just one emotion at a time and it's normal to feel a complete mix of emotions all at once. We discussed how this was particularly the case when thinking about our return to school and how our emotions and feelings about this have changed over time. 

We then designed our own colour monsters and are going to put them on display in our classroom, to remind us all that it is completely normal to feel a jumble of emotions!
