Dragon Detectives In Year 2

There were some mysterious markings in the forest area outside our classroom when we arrived at school this morning so we braved the rain and went out to investigate. After examining the scene together as a class, there appeared to be a giant dragon footprint in the mud so we split up to try and find more clues. We discovered a broken bench, mounds of soil, tiny eggs and nests made up of sticks and leaves. We then came inside to write about what we had found and what we thought had happened during the night. Everyone produced some fantastic writing and we will continue to look for more clues. Be careful out there because we think that there is a dragon on the loose!
