Science in Year One

Class: Y1 - Miss Veney Year: 2021 - 2022

We have been exploring different materials in Science.

Today we looked at bricks and discussed why it is a good material to build a house with.  We talked about it being very strong. The children discussed how bricks are so strong that they can stay up in very windy weather!!   We also explored how they are waterproof and stay solid even when they get wet. 

We even found out how they are made!  At home you could ask your child how as we found it very interesting.
