UNIFORM
We are so proud of our children in their very smart Northway uniforms and as such all children, excluding the nursery, are expected to wear uniform as we feel it encourages a sense of belonging and pride in the school. You can find a list below of required uniform. Families can choose between trousers, skirts, dresses and shorts as appropriate. Children are not required to wear Northway branded items of clothing but they are required to wear the colours listed below.
The nursery children wear loose clothing best suited to their activities, along with slip-on pumps as footwear. Northway Nursery sweatshirts and T-shirts are available but not required.

Optional items for junior children (these are allowed but not expected)A small school backpack or bag A small pencil case with handwriting pens, felt-tip pens and colouring pencils.

ADDITIONAL UNIFORM RULES
- Hair must be tied up as soon as it is long enough to do so
- Only one pair of small stud earrings are allowed. They must be removed or covered by the child for PE lessons
- Watches can be worn, however, cellular internet watches are not allowed.
- No other jewellery of any kind is allowed. This includes friendship bracelets.
- Nail varnish, fake nails, gel nails, make up of any kind or temporary tattoos are not allowed
- Keyrings on book bags are restricted to one, flat, palm-sized key ring so book bags can be stored away in the classrooms.
PRE-LOVED UNIFORM
We encourage parents with uniform that no longer fits and is still in good condition to donate it to school to support our pre-loved uniform sales. Keep an eye on the newsletters for more information about when our next pre-loved uniform sales will be!
