Manchester Museum of Science and Industry
Lesson: Science
Class: Y5/6 - Mrs Reardon Year: 2016 - 2017
On Tuesday, all of the Upper Junior classes visited the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry. We had a fantastic time exploring the different areas of the museum including the textiles gallery where we watched a demonstration of how fabric was made - some of the machines were 150 years old! We also really enjoyed the air and space gallery and we were amazed by the size of the aircraft. We also went to a workshop called 'Circuit City' where we learnt all about electricity.
