Growth Mindset in Year One

Today we have talked about Growth Mindset and how our brain works. We discussed how we use our brain to think about things. Sometimes, our brain thinks about what we can do in a positive way, but sometimes our brain thinks about things in a negative way and we tell ourselves that we can’t do things.
This week we are thinking about growth and today we have been thinking about how we can train our brain to think positively when we face challenges or difficult things. We have talked about Growth Mindset and this means how our brains views/sees or handles challenges and problems.

Today we worked on different challenges that involved failing, which can feel frustrating. We discussed how to manage these feelings so that we do not become upset and frustrated.
Remember using laughter to help us to stay relaxed and stay calm is key! And when we feel like we can’t do it REMEMBER I can’t do it YET!
