Digging Holes!

This week in English, we are planning and writing instructions about how to dig the best hole at Camp Green Lake - just like the characters in our class novel 'Holes' by Louis Sachar.

What better way to do this than by putting ourselves in one of the character's shoes and having a go at digging some holes in school! We used our best imagination to pretend that the soil was hard like in the story!
