Design technology in Year 3

Class: Y3/4 - Miss Harwood Year: 2019 - 2020

We have designed and created a Christmas cube that includes a pneumatic pump. Once we have created a plan based on the design criteria we made a prototype. This really help us to know if we needed to change anything on our design. Attaching the balloon was the tricky part but once we had done this we could operate the pump by squeezing the bottle and filling the balloon with air. This then raised the platform and the Christmas plartform was revealed!
