In English, we used our understanding of instructional texts by following the instructions for how to make the ‘cup and ball’ game. Linked to our topic work on ‘Toys’, we looked at the features of instruction texts and discussed why it is important for each step to be in chronological order. We then followed the instructions carefully and created the ‘cup and ball’ game ourselves.
