Butterflies!

Class: Reception - Mrs Harrison Year: 2021 - 2022

We have had a fantastic time recently learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. We have been lucky enough to have our own caterpillars in the classroom and we have helped take care of them until they were ready to change into butterflies. Today, we released the butterflies! We made sure our garden area was suitable for them and we released them near to a buddleia plant because we know butteflies are attracted to them. It was so magical and some of the butterflies even landed on us! We were very gentle with them.
