I am Mrs Sumner and I teach Reception with Mrs Stewart. I am also our school's SENDCO, Mental Health Leader and Science Leader. I started teaching at Northway in 2008 after completing my teaching practice at Edge Hill University. I can still remember the first day I came to Northway for a tour of the school and I was made to feel so welcome by all of the staff and children. There is always such a lovely, positive and happy atmosphere at Northway. In our classroom, we will have lots of fun and I am excited to take the children on a fantastic learning journey!

PE

This half term, PE lessons will usually take place on a Tuesday, but please make sure your PE kit is in school at the beginning of every half term and stays in school.

All pieces of clothing, including school uniform and shoes must be named. Please ensure earrings are removed or covered with plasters on the P.E. day, staff are not permitted to do this for the children
