Science rocks, by Mrs Catlin

This week in Science the Y3 and Y4 children have been learning about different types of rocks and where they originated from.

We have been interested in comparing their properties and discussing their uses.

We have found out that some rocks are soft yet some are very hard.

Ask me to tell you all about the different three types of rock- can you remember their names children?

In ICT in Year 1 we used the Bee Bots and programmed them to move around our classroom. We even made them a car park to reverse into!

We have been counting in multiples of 2 , 5 and 10 this week in Maths in Year 1. To help us count in fives we drew around our hands!
