Marvellous Map-Reading In Year 2

This week at Northway is British Science and Health Week and, as part of this, we spent Monday afternoon working on some outdoor adventurous activities. The children worked together in twos and threes, following maps to find the correct answers to each route. All of the cones had different numbers on so, after following each route, the children had to add up all of the numbers to work out the correct answer. The children not only showed brilliant map-reading skills but their teamwork and perserverance was outstanding. It was a joy to watch them all working together, trying to complete the different courses. What a super start to British Science and Health Week!
