Earth Day

Last week we read ‘Here We Are’ by Oliver Jeffers. We thought about the role that we play in taking care of our planet. We discussed ways that we can recycle, reduce and reuse to make sure that we take care of our earth. We can all make a difference and the change starts with us!

The first Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970. Earth Day was founded to help people consider their actions and how they affect the Earth and our world. The purpose of Earth Day is to continue helping people think about how to protect and care for our Earth.
