"A Different World" Fantasy Dances in Year 1

Class: Y1 - Miss Veney Year: 2021 - 2022

In Year 1 we have been creating our own dances to a piece of music based on a fantasty story. 

The story begins where a little boy called Peter travels through a magical portal that appears in his attic at night. He finds himself in a far away mystical land full of wonder and beauty. Suddenly he spirals downwards falling into a dark cave where he befriends a beautiful majestic dragon. ?

 The dragon tells him about his friend the princess who is trapped in a tower by the evil wizard and he is searching for a brave knight to ride on his back and help him save the princess. Peter says he would be that knight and help the dragon on his quest to save the princess. The two embark on an incredible adventure travelling far and wide and overcoming many obstacles. They eventually reach the tower, battle a huge spider named Cynthia who guards the tower. They manage to free themselves from Cynthia’s entangled web, rescue the princess and escape from the evil wizard.  All the land rejoice and celebrate the princesses return. Peter and the dragon are hailed heroes. All live happily ever after!
