Kindness

As part of anti-bullying week, we have been focussing on kindness. We have talked about that it is everyone's role to make sure that we show kindness to others. Sometimes it comes easily to us. Sometimes we have to make a considered effort and go out of our way to show kindness. As part of this week, we had a kindness challenge where we were secret kindness givers. Everyone drew another person's name out of a hat and had a challenge to go out of their way to be extra kind and then at the end of the week we tried to guess who had pulled our names out of the hat. Lots of people did correctly identify their secret person. But what was really lovely, was that so many people thought of examples of kindness from lots of people in our class who weren't their secret person.
