Y5/6 Liverpool Trip

Lesson: History

Class: Y5/6 - Mrs Shimmin Year: 2017 - 2018

On Friday, we visited Liverpool to learn more about the history of our city. Our trip began by looking at 'The Three Graces' where we found lots of evidence of Liverpool's maritime history and links to the slave trade. Then we went on a ferry across the Mersey and looked at Liverpool's skyline. On our walk around the city, we visited Castle Street where we looked at how the buildings are used differently now to when they were first build. We visited Matthew Street to learn about Liverpool's musical history and Exchange Flags where we looked at the Town Hall for even more evidence of Liverpool's history - ask us to tell you some of the animals we saw on the building.

Have a look at our photos - can you find any links to Liverpool's history?
