SHAKESPEARE WEEK

Across the whole school, we have been learning about the works of William Shakespeare and using some of these works as inspiration to create various types of artwork, dance and music of our own.

To showcase the learning we have done and the work we have created, we are going to celebrate by having a ‘Shakespeare Festival’ week, which will take place from Monday 8th July. During this week, all children from EYFS to Year 6 will take part in Shakespeare related activities in their English lessons: from learning about particular characters from his plays to completing in-depths studies and analyses of his works as well as completing our cross-curricular learning.

We will spend part of the week sharing our work with other members of the school and we will also be inviting families into school to see the work that we have completed and to celebrate our learning with us.
