What type of school is Northway?

We are a Community Primary School in Sefton Local Authority, providing education for boys and girls from Nursery (3 years) to Year 6 (11 years) on a daily basis. It has no affiliations with any particular religion or religious denomination.

Northway is a popular school and takes children from the local area and from other parts of Sefton and surrounding areas. Parents considering applying to the school for a place for their child are welcome to contact the school office to arrange an information call with the headteacher, Mrs McKenzie. Under normal circumstances, we would love to welcome you into school so you can tour it in person. However, as this is not currently possible due to Covid-19 restrictions, we invite you to have a look at our "School Tour" which can be found by clicking the tour button on the black menu bar at the top of the webpage. You will also find information about our school on our website so please have a good look around - especially at the "Class Pages" and "About Us" menu tabs. They will give you a flavour of Northway!  The Admissions Policy is in line with that issued by Sefton Local Authority and can be found on our Admissions Page in our "Information" tab.
