eSAFETY

eSafety@Northway

At Northway we take online safety very seriously and we are committed to educating our children about how they can stay safe online. We also work hard to support our families in any issues they face in the online world by publishing a range of information on our website, inviting parents to attend workshops and also by publishing a termly eSafety bulletin written by our Digital Leaders.

We have clear policies and procedures in place to deal with eSafety and ensure that our pupils are safe when they are working with devices in school. All of our children have agreed to follow our Pupil Acceptable User Policy (see below) that has been written by our Digital Leaders stating how all children will treat technology in school. In addition, our parents have also signed the Parental Acceptable User Policy to show they understand the role technology plays in their child's education and that they understand the procedures we have in place. These can be downloaded below.
