Y6 - Mrs Reardon 2021 - 2022

Mrs Reardon

Welcome

Hello and welcome to our class page! My name is Mrs Reardon and I teach Year 6 along with the support of Mrs Maurer. I have been teaching at our amazing school since 2011. Northway is such a great place to be as everyone is so friendly and supportive of one another. I run the school Drama Club with Mrs Phillips for children in years 5 and 6 and we direct and produce a performance for the end of the school year. As well as this, I am responsible for Maths across the school along with Mrs O’Connor. I hope you enjoy looking at our page and all the exciting things we have been up to!

Contacting the Class Teacher

Due to social distancing restrictions, teachers are unable to meet face to face unless meetings have been scheduled. Please use the class emails if you wish to contact the class teacher. If your concern is imminent, please contact the school office and they will pass the message on to the class teacher.

We're really looking forward to welcoming you back in September. When coming into school, remember to walk down the pedestrian path, cross at the zebra crossing and wave goodbye as you walk down the path and onto the Junior playground. Here is a short video that will help you with how to walk into school.

Notice for Parents/Carers

This half term, our PE lesson will take place on a MONDAY and we will be going swimming to The Meadows for this. A letter will be sent out about this to parents at the start of the term. Please make sure that you have your kit in school and have either removed any earrings before coming to school or have tape available to cover them for your lesson if you have recently had them pierced. Once you are able to take your earrings out, you should not tape them any longer and can wear them until you get changed for your PE lesson when they should be removed. All children must be able to cover their earrings independently, or they will need to be removed at home before the day of PE.
